Sambaddha joined SunFarmer in 2016 and has been instrumental in the growth of SunFarmer since then. Through his vital management and leadership, the business development team of SunFarmer has been able to succeed in achieving its ambitious goals every year.

Sambaddha is a Mechanical Engineer with over 7 years of combined experience in Renewable Energy in Nepal. Through his initiation and under his leadership SunFarmer has been able to install over 1 MW of  Solar projects and conduct studies of various multi MW solar projects all across Nepal.

Previously, he has worked as a Consultant at the Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC) reviewing technical development proposals in the biogas sector. He has previously managed the operation of hydro energy project through is work as at Ankhu Khola Jalbidhyut Company Ltd, a privately owned 8.5MW hydropower plant. He has also worked as the Technical Coordinator for Smart Urja, One Planet Solution Pvt. Ltd where he was responsible for the management and operation of various energy projects in solar, biogas, and clean cooking solutions. 

He holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from ACE Institute of Management, Nepal and a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Adamson University, Philippines. When he has time, Sambaddha likes to travel and follow sports. He is a passionate fan of F. C. Barcelona.
