Andy Moon

Co-Founder and CEO

Andy has spent his career focused on the intersection of environment and international development.  Since 2009, he has worked in the solar energy industry, initially at SunEdison Solar and later as a freelance project finance advisor, closing or advising over $150MM in renewable energy transactions. Prior to SunEdison, Andy worked at McKinsey & Company’s Sustainability and Nonprofit practices in New York, where he co-authored widely cited papers on climate change and public health and worked closely with major foundations and multilateral organizations.

Andy has spent summers volunteering in Cambodia and the Philippines, and has a longstanding interest in public health through his work as an early fundraiser and energy advisor to the nonprofit Possible. In his free time he enjoys writing and playing music, outdoor activities, and eating momos and dal bhat during his extended stays in Nepal. Andy holds a Phi Beta Kappa honors degree from Stanford University.

Eli Mitchell-Larson

Director of Operations

Eli leads SunFarmer’s efforts to expand into new markets. 

Prior to joining SunFarmer, Eli was an Associate at New Island Capital, an environmental and social impact investment firm focused on advancing renewable energy and sustainable agriculture. Eli worked across renewables project finance, private lending, and real assets investments, working on deal teams to deploy more than $125 million across 15 direct investments. He also led the development of a 500 kW solar array to power a 400-acre organic blueberry farm.

Eli has conducted research or performed in over fifty countries, and enjoys vocal performance and hiking. Eli holds a BS in Geology & Geophysics and Environmental Studies from Yale University.

Ivan Damnjanovic

Business Development Manager

Ivan leads the projects team at SunFarmer's Kathmandu office to deliver solar energy for hospitals, schools, farms, and businesses across Nepal. Prior to joining SunFarmer, Ivan spent one year at Deloitte’s Toronto office. At Deloitte, he worked with clients in the financial services and the energy industry on corporate finance, operations, sustainability, and risk management.

His interests outside of work include volunteering, travelling, and staying active. In particular, Ivan enjoys working with youth. Recently, he was a facilitator on a 15-day 8000 kilometers long train ride through India as part of the 2015 Jagriti Yatra. On this journey, he mentored many young people and helped them come up with innovative solutions for India's toughest problems.

Ivan holds an honours degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in sustainable energy from the University of Toronto. He also holds a Lean Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial Engineers.

Elsa Flike

Design and Marketing Intern

Elsa is currently working on her Communications Design BFA at Pratt Institute. She spent the first thirteen years of her life in Stockholm, drawing inspiration from both Europe and the US. 

Her focus is Art Direction/Advertising, with a strong interest in social issues and powerful change through social media.

Outside of school, Elsa creates fine art through a variety of mediums including oil painting, film/digital photography, silkscreen printing and collaging.
